I grew up tent camping and thought I hated this outdoor activity until I discovered glamping as an adult. I first bought myself 1997 Ford Tioga motorhome a few years ago and last year I upgraded to this 2018 Salem Cruise Lite with a queen sized bed, central air and a bathroom equipped with a stand up shower. It even has a new flat screen TV for me to lay in bed and watch at night.
Now this is far from true camping, but this my kind of camping! I have functioning heat and air conditioning when inside, but can pop outside to enjoy a fire and roast marshmallows. But I also love to stay in here when I visit home. I can bum wifi from my mom’s house and sit at my dining booth which is my favorite spot in the camper. I’ve been able to work remotely from this spot too! Read on for more details on how I decorated my camper:
Little Details to Decorate My Camper
A couple faux plants, candles and such help make a camper more homey. I love this faux snake plant (I have one at home and one now in the trailer.) I also recently bought this cardamom and vetiver candle, a little spicy and now my favorite affordable candle. I also love a room spray in the camper too. I also bought this coffee table book for the top of the dining table.
You need cozy bedding too! I love having at least a couple throw blankets (I have this Barefoot Dreams one that’s on sale and a similar flannel one.) I have plaid bedding on my queen bed in here and somehow forgot to snap that pic, but here’s a similar comforter and this is a super cute plaid duvet cover.
An outdoor rug is a must too (and I’m shopping for a new, larger one now.) I love this tribal print outdoor rug that’s on sale and this one! These folding chairs are a must too. Here are similar rug options to the jute rug I have by the dining table here and here. Love that I have space to get ready in the bathroom! Counter space and plenty of storage. I have this similar cosmetics bag that I pack for travel which I LOVE and this Louis Vuitton trousse toiletry bag (it’s extra for camping, I know but very functional.)
