ย My typical uniform is still anything comfy and stretchy. I’m working from home more right now and I’ve got zero plans outside the home with the rise in COVID cases so comfy is all I need, except occasionally I like to look more pulled together on a grocery run. Here are some ideas to elevate your joggers and sweatshirt combos!
Ideas to Elevate Your Casual Jogger Style
It’s all about the choice of outerwear during colder months that can elevate a casual look. I added this camel coat instead of puffer jacket for slightly more sophistication. The coat is on sale too! This one is an even better price. I love this black top coat from Target (it’s in my closet too!) Another camel coat I’d love to snag.
The other outerwear option I’d recommend is a blazer. I love that silhouette paired with slouchy sweats. This plaid Free People blazer is fab and so is this black Madewell blazer, and it’s on sale. I own this oversized camel blazer and would be super cute on a warmer winter day.
Trade out sneakers for a Chelsea boot or a lug boot.ย Another super affordable lug boot option!
Opting for a more structured hat like a baseball cap over a beanie is another idea. I wore my wool knit Mackage beanie since it was like 15 degrees outside, but I love love this Amazon baseball cap and usually wear this.
My sunglasses don’t elevate the look per se, but I love them and they’re a great Amazon find!
A structured bag is another idea. This Marc Jacobs bag worn crossbody or something like this Staud bag would be super cute.
Sweatshirts and Joggers to Shop
I love a half zip pullover like the Everlane one I’m wearing or this. You don’t have to be matchy matchy if you don’t want. I love a matching set, but I just pulled this and a pair of joggers from Target together and they looked great together.
Okay, I love this Target matching sweatshirt and jogger set–I wear it on repeat right now with the black top coat.
This black hoodie is a classic, I bought this recently and pair with these black joggers. Another Target find!
For a great legging that doesn’t cost a ton, try these Aerie leggings.
