I got an early start to my Christmas decorating–I just love this time of the year and being more conscious of not being an asshole. And I’m feeling pretty jolly!
Family Room Decor
My family room is the space with the fireplace, open concept to the kitchen and dining. I knew I wanted a tree here (and not just my living room!) So I bought a skinny flocked pre-lit tree. I opted for a $15 felt collar for the tree, just love the look. Out of pure laziness, I went more minimal with the tree decor and added an oversized ribbon to the top and oversized red poinsettia picks (bought last year, similar here) and gold glittery picks that I found on Amazon.
I decorated my mantle pretty traditionally with garland, Christmas tree decor from a local shop Bridge and Main, new stockings and an old JOY sign from Target and even the birch logs are a decor item from Target.
Living Room Decor
The Christmas tree in my living room is a little janky so I will be replacing it next year, but I love all my kitschy ornaments–it’s a mix of pretty gifted ornaments from family and friends over the years and the ornaments I find at Target on post-Christmas sale (best time to snag all the holiday stuff!) I also bought this faux red berry stems for my coffee table–just a touch of the holiday with warm, spicy candles for winter.
