New Pieces for Workwear
I’m semi-struggling to strike the balance of cool girl style and work appropriate clothing and lately, I feel like a blob at the office. But I finally styled an outfit I like this week with a polka dot tank from the Somewhere Lately/Amazon Drop collection (it’s not available now but linked it when it may come back in stock.) I was also gifted these incredibly comfortable Everlane cream jeans. They fit true to size! And love this $40 initial necklace I recently bought!
On the Go Beauty
The first couple months at work, I forgot to bring make up for touch ups–I forget how much I sweat away (or sometimes cry away) what’s on my face. It’s been an adjustment to transition back to the office and running around from in-person meeting to in-person meeting, but I love the Merit foundation stick (can be used as foundation or concealer), Lux Unfiltered untinted lip balm (perpetually dry lips!) and the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick balm in pillow talk because I cannot live without some form of the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in pillow talk. I also usually keep a mascara mini or even full size like this Pat McGrath mascara in my purse too.
Still Loving All Things Comfy
I went shopping with my friend Emily at Urban Outfitters last week and saw an assortment of adorable tanks and cropped tops–these types of tanks, especially the one I’m wearing, are great for everyday wear in the summer but also layered under a jacket or blazer for work. Super versatile and just $20.
