Oh man. A lot of unanticipated changes happened this past month and I don’t like change. I’m not even comfortable with friends rearranging furniture in their own homes if that paints you any picture. Sometimes, I think I can predict everything and if I plan things a certain way, everything will be in my control. Silly me!
I swear whenever I wear this outfit to work, I match some older person in the office. And I briefly picture myself 30 years from now. I love adding this vintage fur to the sweater, just feel a little fancier..and warmer on a day like yesterday where snowflakes fell in abundance and the wind almost blew me over.

i, too, am wary of change, in a way that is often detrimental and induces some stagnation. the lack of control, i suppose.
i hope, if the change is not good, per se, it is at least interesting, and challenging, and will make for a stronger woman.
unrelatedly, sophisticated classics at work are always lovely, especially when your personal flair is infused.

Great outfit. The fur add an "old glamour" element to it, which I love. Also I know how you feel with trying to control everything and thinking if you plan perfectly, there will be no surprises. I do the same thing! But then things usually go even less of my way, so I'm trying to not be such a control freak lately.

I'm with you on change!! not a big fan either.. so just imagine when my family and i had to move here in canada from the other side of the world (philippines). so stressful, really!
