Elevated Sweatshirt Style

I like to believe there’s such thing as an elevated sweatshirt style, especially when it’s a hoodie and a print that relatively casual. Also, if you can’t tell–I’m really digging camo.

I’ve been wearing this hoodie on repeat with leggings or mom jeans, it looks good no matter what (and this one is super soft, it’s hard to take off.)

Making the Most of a Saturday

My mom and I visited a large horse tack sale in Allendale last weekend where we ran into so many people I probably haven’t seen in at least 15 years (since my horse show days.) Makes me sad that I blink and I’m old AF and the girls I knew as children are now married adults, and I’m still farting around in my thirties.

After my sad inner monologue of convincing myself it’s okay to age, we headed off to our next adventure. I realized we were so close to the Found Cottage in Hudsonville, so we took a detour for more shopping and I frolicked in the dressing room in cute swing dresses and I felt young again.

But anyway, en route to the Found Cottage, I spotted this cool ass truck on the side of the road and my mom agreed that trespassing on personal property was worth it to get some cool photos. After clothes and trinket shopping at the Found Cottage, we discovered Sonder Eatery on Yelp and stopped there for a delicious brunch. By 2 p.m., I changed out of the jeans and back into leggings and spent the rest of the day with my boo on his parent’s couch watching TV. I felt like I did so much and so little in one day and it was fun and relaxing.
