I’ll never outgrow my love for a pair of cut off denim shorts and a cropped tank–well maybe I will soon since I’m probably too old for this combo, but for now, it sticks. I packed a lot of easy dresses and beach cover-ups this trip but also stuffed my suitcase with three pairs of denim shorts and a handful of cropped tanks including this one by my friend Hollie’s line called Sixty Nine North. I’ve been tossing this combo on for that time between post-workout and pre-pool festivities. Each day, I’ve had a few hours to myself to kill before my vacation buddies are ready to emerge and start their day.  The four of them are in another room and they’re all night owls, while I’m the early bird!

It’s my time to wander the resort, read, catch up on emails–or just sit out and stare at the views from my balcony. I’ve been making a big effort to be comfortable with doing nothing and be a little more present. I feel so refreshed already, and ready to get back home Sunday night and get some shit done.
