On day two of my visit in Auburn, New York, Jenn and I took her dogs to Fillmore Glen State Park to hike the trails and check out the waterfalls. I’ve never been quite interested in nature. Even when I visited Niagara Falls as a child I much preferred the museum learning about the daredevils who plunged the falls inside a barrel rather than actually standing outside looking at it. My natural tendency is to stay indoors, but visiting Jenn gave me a renewed energy and enthusiasm for the outdoors and I really enjoyed seeing just how absolutely stunning that area is.
The rest of the day was checking out downtown Auburn, eating lunch at a local deli and grabbing frozen yogurt while checking out the library and admiring the historic buildings. I styled an autumnal look perfect for upstate new york’s fall season of loose jeans, black mules with a faux leather white top and a plaid coat.
