I finally got the front of my house updated just in time for trick or treating with a new railing, a fresh coat of paint on the door with new hardware and new lighting. It’s now kid-friendly and to get in the spirit with my neighbors, I’ve decorated my entry with a mix of eerie and fall harvest themes. James and I can’t wait to pass out candy!
Getting ready for Halloween
I bought pumpkins and a matching pair of mums from a local market and placed them along the steps with the Halloweenย lantern and these haunted house luminariesย with tea light candles (one shown here below!) to light up my sidewalk. I have the 24 pack of the luminaries, but will probably just need 12 to line the sidewalk the night of Halloween.
James and I will, of course, be in costume that night too. He’ll be in his teddy bear or donut costume and I’ll be a cat per usual. Now, we just need to scoop up the candy, place out the luminaries with lights and we’re ready to go!
