All of the items in this look have been such versatile summer pieces that I mix and match with everything in my closet. I think a great pair of cropped pants like these and a billowy, boxy linen top are two pieces you should consider adding to your summer wardrobe to stay chic and cool on hot days.
The Pants for Summer
I love a fun wide leg for the office. I typically wear this style, cropped, a ton during the warmer months and switch to oversized sweaters and leggings during the winter. This pair is my favorite (and I have them in white) because of their affordable price (under $30!) and I have many from Retail Therapy where I do freelance work–I see all the cute, unique pieces roll in and gotta have ’em.
Give me Linen
I’ve been remixing this top into so many looks this summer with varying pair of wide leg pants for work or skinny jeans on casual days. I think this white version by Bryn Walker is super versatile, but I love something more of a statement like this tunic from Retail Therapy on sale. This Madewell top is somewhat similar to what I’m wearing, but cropped and with a back tie (and on sale!) This linen top by James Perse is also super similar and comes in a variety of colors.
