I consider myself a beauty and skincare junkie and I love to try everything, priced high or low. Here are a few of my top drugstore picks for beauty, skincare and fragrance.
Affordable Body Mist and Perfume
Target’s Fine’ry perfume line has a range of intoxicating scents at such great prices. I’ve bought two of body mists for $15 each and my most favorite to wear everyday is the sweet on the outside scent. I also have the jungle santal scent. I’ll wear it alone or layer it with another spicy or smoky vanilla scent. I also wear this to bed, just a little luxury that I include in my nighttime routine.
Elf Beauty
The e.l.f. halo glow is a dupe of the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter. I own both and I have to say the dupe is just as amazing as the original and half the price. I wear this product as my “foundation” or mixed in with tinted moisturizer for an extra glowy look.
I was influenced to buy the lip oil after a coworker let me try hers. It’s the perfect gloss with really no coral color, more sheer than anything and a light peppermint scent.
Skincare Finds
I have some nicer products to help me with my extra dry skin in the winter and it has not been working so when my friend Courtney suggested I try using her Aquaphor and I woke up the next morning with smooth, soft cheeks that were so dried and cracked the night before, I ran to Target to get some myself. I wear this last in my nighttime skincare routine and use it on my cheeks and chin and around my nostrils where my skin is flaking constantly.
Lastly, I’ve been a Almay’s #1 fan when it comes to their eye make up remover pads. I’ve been using them for 15 years now. I typically use them after washing my face to remove any last bits of mascara remaining and it’s so gentle and effective.
