Black & Blue

Yesterday’s morning scramble led to an unfortunate set of events including wearing a terrible outfit with pants that had stains and dog hair all over them. We all have those days right? Hmph. So upon return from work, I changed into this outfit which I should have worn all day. Then I visited my friend Andrea to deliver hard cider that I picked up for her during my trip to New York last week, ate Mexican food in her hood and sat out on her rooftop deck. It was a lovely way to end a hectic day.

I picked this outfit because let’s be real, I live in the midwest and I enjoy leggings, but these ones are special with the mesh on the sides and I also wanted to try out the layer sweater trend, which I now fully support. For some reason, I feel thinner in the sweater, which is always a bonus.
