To Big Sur
My mom and I got up at 4 a.m. pacific time en route to Big Sur. With last summer’s fire and recent landslides, our trip to Big Sur wasn’t what we originally planned. We tacked on an extra hour to get there and missed out on some spots I was hoping to see, but there was still plenty of great views! We even spotted a sea otter, my mom’s one hope this trip. We traveled as far as we could into Big Sur and stopped to see our first Redwoods before spending the day in Carmel/Monterrey and staying overnight in Santa Cruz.
Boho Summer
I wore this cardigan on a few days during the road trip–the weather fluctuated so much as we traveled up the coast and this was the last day I could wear shorts! I styled a Massini bohemian tank with the cardigan from Meijer with brand new shorts I bought in San Luis Obispo. A bohemian style just seemed most appropriate for Big Sur!
