Berry Cheesecake Smoothie Recipe!

I don’t make many resolutions or any grand announcement of how I’m going to change when a new year hits, but I take some time thinking about areas of health, career growth and overall happiness and SMALL steps to get there.
I love a cookie or donut for breakfast, but I noticed if I start the day eating like shit, I feel like I ruined it for the rest of the day and I make one bad decision after the next. So, I bought myself a Ninja and partnered with Meijer to share this small morning change: a smoothie instead of a donut.

I normally hate fruits and veggies, but I do love smoothies and blended protein shakes so I tested out this idea of a berry cheesecake drink and..it turned out delicious. It tastes just like you’re indulging in a slice of cheesecake. Mmmm. Let me note that I personally do not like regular yogurt, bananas and eating fruit and veggies on their own, so this works for me as a meal and may work better for others as a healthier version of a dessert.

This smoothie includes:

1 scoop of Muscle Milk protein powder, vanilla flavor
1 teaspoon of Jello sugar free cheesecake pudding powder
1.5 cups of Edy’s vanilla frozen yogurt
1 cup of frozen fruit (a mix of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
1/4 cup of water (or a little more, but I like a super thick smoothie

This is SUPER easy and if I can manage, you can too! It looks like not a lot, but this amount is perfect for breakfast and it fills you up quickly. A big thank you to Meijer for partnering with me on this and sending me protein powder along with other quick and easy meals on the go like Muscle Milk and Slimfast (I like the Slimfast to-go ones better!) and a gift card to pick up all my supplies for the smoothie.
