Well I thought I looked pretty pulled together until I saw these pictures, which is just another reason I’m glad I have this blog: to help correct me when I think something is working, but it ain’t. I really need to learn how to do more with my hair, but to be fair, for a huge work event, I need my hair pulled back and an easy shift dress that requires no fuss at all..and of course a pair of flats in a larger bag hidden away. For anyone who plans events, you always start out with great intentions in cute heels, and end the night running rampant in a pair of beat up flats. I was hoping to greet the mayor of Detroit in this exact look, but couldn’t make it in the heels long enough!
