Another visit to NYC

I’m still in recovery mode from all the hustle and bustle in New York City and I had such an incredible time. A while back, I asked Celeste who owns women’s boutique Retail Therapy if I could join her on a buying trip to learn more about the process and to visit the city, since Celeste loves food and shopping as much as I do. I hadn’t been back since a fashion week three or four years ago and I honestly never had so much fun at those. 
She warned me about how exhausting these markets can be and she’s right. We visited seven different markets or shows over the course of three days (first day included four, all at different locations) and I got a peek at what’s to come next fall. It’s a tease though, because I want to wear everything I’m seeing and I’ve gotta wait a year.
Besides getting dirt, food stains and lipstick marks all over the white side of this top, I found this outfit to be great for running around among fashion people and totally me. I had to step it up a little (I packed grey tees, but I did not wear grey tees!) while being comfortable and finding what works with my new lavender grey hue in the hair. Black and white worked perfectly.
