Another Transitional Fall Look

Looking for ways to still get wear out of your summer dresses? Toughen it up and/or layer it up!

This dress is one I usually wear during spring/summer and wanted to wear it one last time before I pack it up for winter and styled this look which I just loved–equally functional for the cooler weather, but I also felt like a bad ass. Read on for details on this look and how to recreate it:

The Transitional Fall Outfit

This feminine dress worked perfectly with my Allsaints leather jacket, Prada combat boots and cat eye sunglasses. I’m not overly feminine in my styling and so it was a natural fit to toughen this beautiful dress. I love wearing creams and whites with leather details like this, and it helps extend the life of your summer clothing and I never adhere to the rule “no white after labor day.” Fuck that rule.

Recreating the Look (Budget-Friendly Options!)

My Prada boots are from last year and can’t find the exact style, but I always recommend shopping these secondhand for a good deal on an app like Poshmark or joining luxury consignment Facebook groups OR following sellers on social media like @JuliaRoseBoston.
