ย Last weekend, Matt and I made a day trip to Grand Rapids to drink good coffee, eat Mexican food and do a little shopping. It was a hot day and I chose my favorite denim shorts, breezy tunic and leather thong sandals, along with a hat. Just one of those looks I’ll wear on repeat and look a little more polished than just jean shorts and a tee.
Six Affordable Boho Pieces to Shop for Summer
I usually shop my Free People items from Macy’s–they always have the best sales! One of my favorites right now is this tunic tank–it comes in many colors like rust and cream, all my faves! And it’s on sale for $28. This top with the flounce hem and crochet lace detail is just adorably bohemian and effortless, also on sale! And of course this raw seam tunic I’m wearing here! Tuck it into shorts like this and you’re equal parts style and comfort.
If you’re looking for a couple dress ideas, I loveย this shift dress from Target. These types of dresses don’t stick to your body or skin and flow with the wind. This red off-the-shoulder number would be perfect for an outdoor wedding or just a walk on the beach in sandals and it’s priced at $28. I bought this white v-neck maxi dress and it’s the perfect summer dress. It’s breathable and not see-through! Plus, it’s easy to style more casually or more polished to work for many occasions this summer.
