I got a taste of summer last week in Phoenix and perhaps more than bargained for with the 100 degree heat, but it gave me a chance to style some pieces for summer a little earlier than I can in Michigan. And this dress was perfect for a relaxed day in Sedona and driving back to Phoenix (and it didn’t wrinkle during travel, bonus!)
Easy Dresses this Summer
I loved this dress since it was pretty fuss-free. There was quite a bit of wind in Sedona so I did have to hold part of it down, but under normal circumstances, I’m not normally caught in what seems like a wind tunnel. I styled it with mules for a more relaxed look and if I could have packed more, I would’ve styled it with a leather crossbody. But I think this dress could easily be styled with wedges, slides or fancier sandals.
If you’re looking for a few dress options, I like this blue floral maxi dress from Sparrow Boutique that could easily transition from wedding guest style to weekend brunch with the change of shoes and accessories. If you like yellow and off the shoulder like this dress, I’m also digging this Billabong maxi dress. Or this Billabong ruffled floral dress!
I love a maxi dress, but some of my favorite bloggers have been rocking floral wrap dresses (not a mini dress by any means, but shorter than I normally wear since I usually stick to midi and maxi dresses!) And so now I’m on the hunt for one like this red floral wrap dress that’s half off, this white floral dress that’s 40% off and this incredibly flattering and beautiful wrap dress with a flutter sleeve.
