I was lucky enough to get away for a quick trip to Florida and soak up all the sun, but packing for the trip was difficult though. What should I pack? Will I be too hot in anything long-sleeved, too cold in shorts? Packing for another climate is always a time of anxiety for me!
And it’s hard to remember what 70 or 80 degree weather feels like, so I made sure to pack easy mix and match separates (graphic tees with denim shorts, light cropped sweatshirt, cardigan) and of course an easy, breezy cotton shift dress with major bohemian vibes.
The Dress
I originally imagined this dress with white sneakers and a backpack, which I still think would be adorable, but I had limited space in my carry on so I tried on EVERY item I planned to pack and tried on varying sandals and shoes to find the best, most versatile pieces to pack with the special pieces I wanted to make sure I could wear on vacation.
I loved the dress with these Blowfish wedge sandals and a crossbody, which I paired with almost everything else I packed for the trip. This would also make for a great swim cover up, super soft and cozy.

That’s a gorgeous outfit! I can definitely imagine that dress with sneakers and a backpack but I also like it with those wedges, it looks very dressy and feminine.
