A Spring Trench Style

The quintessential spring trench hasn’t found its way into my closet until recently and how refreshing it is to toss on something different than a leather moto jacket!

A couple weekends ago, I survived the winter to spring closet transition. So much cleaning, purging, unpacking and reorganizing. It almost killed me! I’ve started to wear my spring and summer pieces now that the weather has finally shifted to actual spring. I’m looking forward to wearing light blouses layered with light jackets like this look I styled for a trip back to Muskegon on a 65 degree day. How delightful.

This jacket is from Sparrow Boutique and I love the draping of it! I prefer to style trenches and really any jacket as just an extension of my look, not actually outerwear. I don’t imagine I’ll ever tie it closed, just let the trench drape open and layered over something like this or a simple dress.
