Easy, Breezy Outdoor Concert Style
Short shorts and a tight top is my typical summer concert uniform–and under this tunic is a black bodysuit that I wore part of the day before ultimately deciding the extra layer would be more comfortable. I could sway and cheer for bands without a desire to suck in my stomach. I just drank a hard cider with my loose top without care.
Brooke invited me to see Little Big Town at Soaring Eagle Casino and with my love for country music in full swing, I was ecstatic to join. We were 6th row and had amazing views of the stage. Gavin DeGraw opened and admittedly, I wasn’t too excited and couldn’t really remember his songs, but then he sang and he had such a powerful stage performance, great voice and what do you know, I knew all of the songs.
Before the concert, Brooke gave me a tour of Mount Pleasant and the downtown was quite charming. We visited Pure Vitality for a smoothie before getting ready and headed back downtown for a quick bite and martini at Midori before the show started.
