A Cozy Outfit Idea for a Trip Up North

 Matt and I stayed one night up in Traverse City and I packed a small suitcase (always need a suitcase, even for a quick overnight trip!) I packed this cardigan and wore this look on Monday to explore Traverse City. We headed back to our favorite coffee shop Mundos Roasting & Co. and checked out Red Spire for brunch. Just a cozy, low key day of eating and driving home!

The Look

I’m still stuck in this winter rut. Maybe it’s because it’s so cold and I hardly move or walk outside right now or the lack of sun–or feeling uninspired by my closet lately. But this fresh cardigan from Elodie Boutique got me excited to get dressed in the morning. I have a million ways to style this floating around in my head, but I styled it minimally by keeping it buttoned up (loving that cardigan buttoned up trend) with a simple black tank underneath, black jeans, black wedge boots and a cozy beanie!

My Experience with Botox

Winter time is usually my favorite time to get caught up on my beauty/skincare routines since I can have more down time easily in the colder months than warmer months and Botox is something I usually only do a couple times a year. Most people go every three months when the effects start to wear off, but I have few fine lines and I go for preventative reasons–to get those fine lines to stay where they are and not grow into deeper lines and wrinkles.

I visited Yonick Plastic Surgery last week for botox in my forehead and it’s finally taken full effect–and my forehead looks so smooth! Absolutely loved my experience there and even though I don’t live in Midland where the practice is located, I made an evening out of the trip visiting Elodie Boutique to shop and grabbed a quick bite to eat!
