A Cozy Fall Look to Dress Up or Down

I’ve been wearing this combo a lot lately–grey maxi dress with the knitted cardigan coat layered on top–serving as this fall’s outerwear and forever my indoor layer for a chilly office.

The Basics

A cozy maxi like the one I’m wearing is soft, form fitting and easy to layer. I scooped this one up from ASOS a few months back (now on sale for $22), but this $23 long-sleeved midi dress is minimal and chic too.

Cozy Shoe Options

Like any other basic b, I love an ankle boot for fall. I bought these black mules with a small chunky heel–I love the texture, style and comfort and have been wearing them on repeat along with the Gucci mules worn here. I tried on my friend Veronika’s mules and they were so comfortable and broken in, that I had an idea to search for used Gucci mules on the mobile app Poshmark and found a super cheap pair–bought them and brought them to my local cobbler for repair and clean up, and they look good as new (and perfectly broken in.)
