I’ve been on a Sex and the City kick lately. I’ve watched most of the censored episodes out of order in syndication as a teen, but I recently started binge watching them starting with season one and everything in my life I now immediately relate to the show. Like this outfit. I feel so Carrie.

In 2011, I got to meet Patricia Field, the show’s costume designer as part of an excursion to NYC for Payless. While I knew she was a big deal, I didn’t fully grasp who I was able to meet until..well now. Six years later, I’m able to appreciate the experience and how easy it was to ask her questions and not feel quite like the idiot simpleton when I meet new, intimidating people.
