My little brother got married last Saturday and it’s still sinking in that he’s married now with a family of his own. My brother, an ex-MMA fighter is quite the anomaly. I was taking bets for how soon he’d cry, because I knew it would happen, just a matter of when the water works would start. I always make fun of him for his sensitivity, but I think it’s precious. And the tears started precisely when I thought they would: when he saw his stepchildren walk down the aisle.
Weddings back home are much more casual, but I knew I wanted to dress up for the occasion. I styled this jacquard dress with a pair of black strappy heels and gold jewelry. I was trying to channel the essence of Lana Del Rey with the hair and cat eye make up, which I think I half accomplished.
