Last weekend called for a mini getaway up to northern Michigan to celebrate a friend’s birthday through bar-hopping and wine tasting. I wore this for the drive up on Friday and for happy hour drinks at my favorite bar, 7 Monks, in Traverse City where I feasted on mac and cheese and hard cider in my cozy fall outfit. The rest of the weekend was spent on wine tours, playing cards against humanity and eating too much with the girls. Now I’ve returned to reality: grad school and work deadlines!
