Since I celebrated Halloween last weekend with one too many drinks and an 80s cover band, I avoided all the commotion by heading to a desolate restaurant with friends to gorge on pizza. I styled one cozy pajama-like look with heels for the occasion and kicked off my heels later and lounged on my couch to finish up some work for grad school.
It’s been a couple months since I’ve made a trip back to Chicago and every so often I get the itch to go back, visit my favorite places and people, especially my bestie, Courtney, who’s leaving the Midwest behind for West Virginia in a couple weeks. It’ll be bittersweet to see her move farther from me, but I know her and Ben, now Dr. Ben, will be really happy in their new city. Luckily, Merl and Karyn are settled in Chicago, especially with their new shop Market Supply Co. which I’ll be visiting again this weekend.
