apartment!

I moved to a new, quieter neighborhood last summer into a two bedroom apartment with a bit more character and a lot more natural light. I sacrificed a full size stove and dishwasher for a place more my style, but who am I kidding? I don’t cook much.
This is where I take naps almost everyday.
I have an eat-in kitchen now and since i love gold and brass, I picked up this mirrored brass tray from World Market, gold vases from Home Goods and the fox thingie from Cadeau, a really great shop in Nashville. It’s also where I found the skull with the gold grill in the first photo.
My second bedroom has been transformed into a closet. I have two shelves for shoes and bags, a couple garment racks and a desk converted into a vanity. The actual closet in this room is pretty large holds all my coats and winter accessories.

My bedroom is pretty simple with sheer white curtains and white bedding with a pop of color with the lamps and chevron throw. Since I’m on break from school, I’ve been able to read for fun and I’m currently reading Horse Soldiers.

    Lovely! I love that skull with the gold grill. I am also so happy to be on break from school – I'm reading THE PASSAGE and every Buffy graphic novel I can get my hands on until January 6th.

    I love posts like this, where you see little snip it's into someone's home. The natural light in the new place looks inviting and inspiring.

    WOW do I love how you've done your apartment or what? I especially love the black and white color schemes…so chic!
