Stripes + Reflections

To properly say our goodbyes, Sam and I drove out to Owosso last Sunday for our final coffee trip to Foster..and then realized upon arrival they’re closed on Sundays. So we drove back to Lansing and snagged some treats and I, a shitty tasting green tea, from Chapelure. Sam moved here two years ago for her husband’s med school and now they head back to Marquette in the upper peninsula so he can finish school at a hospital. So. Sad. She became a good friend of mine and it’s tough to say goodbye. Making friends when you’re an adult is really hard and we bonded immediately–something special that’s hard to replicate at this age. Sam, I will miss you!
