At 39, I want my make up looks to be as natural as possible. It looks more youthful and my dry skin can’t handle much so it’s all about skincare prep, a light glowy base and a touch of color on the cheeks and lips. Here’s what I’m using and loving:
Make Up Faves
For my base, I use either the Charlotte Tilbury hydrating foundation stick. I find this to be glowy and sheer coverage. If you have textured skin, it can highlight it but for more dry skin, I find that it gives it a youthful boost. I also regularly use the Erborian cc cream.
I just started using the It Cosmetics do it all radiant concealer that was gifted. I love the Sarah Creal concealer and I find that it has great coverage and doesn’t settle into fine lines, but sometimes it’s little more than I want on my skin and that’s where the It Cosmetics concealer comes in. I find that it’s hydrating like a serum and blends beautifully. Less coverage, but brightens which is really what I’m looking for.
I’m a huge fan of the Armani silk cheek tint and it also blends beautifully and easily. I have it in rosy peach and would love it in a bright pink next. I dab a couple dots on each cheek and one on the nose for peachy glow.
The Haus Labs highlighter stick is new to my collection but I fell in love with the pearlescent glow it gives and grabbed it in rose gold.
The Givenchy pressed powder is also to me but but recommended by a beauty-obsessed friend and I always take her suggestions. And this lives up to the hype! It gives a soft finish to my skin.
I recently bought the Violette FR bisou balm sheer matte lipstick in another color that I’m wearing here in Calisson. I also have it in Betise and it blurs my lips with a soft wash of color. Very natural!
