ย My work and social calendar have gotten quite a bit busier in the last month and I’ve been required to retire the sweatpants and get dressed. To be honest, the easiest way for me to transition to dressier looks is to go monochromatic in my favorite color: Black.

For work dressing, I’m leaning towards all black pieces that mix and match in my closet and incorporating trends to modernize the look. For this particular outfit, I paired pleated cropped pants with a square neck tank and an Everlane blazer for a polished vibe for client meetings and events.
I wore this with lug sole loafers and switched into a simple pump for the evening event for something a little more classic.
