ย I’m itching for real jeans, structured blazers and heels–who the hell am I? I spent last weekend not doing anything, staying in the same sweats, not putting make up on and eating all the carbs until I felt sick and it’s crazy how just starting your day by getting dressed can help your mental health and mindset.
I haven’t worn this look yet, but style it a couple ways to share with the goal of wearing it for a client Zoom call soon!
Styling Your Blazer Right Now
What’s great is that the bottoms don’t matter as much so I’ve enjoyed styling this blazer with distressed denim and joggers, outfits that wouldn’t completely fly in person, but when I’m sitting down, I look all business.
I love downplaying a blazer with a graphic tee or plain tee. That’s probably my favorite way to style a blazer but I also ended up loving the blazer layered on top of a linen blouse.
You can downplay the look with jeans which is Zoom call-approved or cozier joggers, or even leggings. Or throw over a long maxi dress at home. You’ll feel like you’re in pajamas but look work-ready.
Not-so-Stuffy Blazers to Shop
I love these earthy colored crinkly cotton blazers and this slouchy version that comes in a pretty blush, cream and other colors.
Also really like this checkered long blazer.
This All Saints open front blazer is my kind of blazer. A relaxed style in my favorite color: black.
Love this Madewell unstructured linen blazer–comes in two colors and I love both.
The perfect cream blazer–classic but still cool!
Here’s my blazer that I’m wearing.
Blazer | similar linen top (50% off) | graphic tee | jeans | necklace | joggers | strappy sandals
