Since I try to workout at home everyday (and just like in pre-quarantine life), I’m too lazy to change clothes and I try to find ways to make workout clothes or lounge clothes work for the rest of the day.
The basic layers of the outfit are $24 joggers, sports bra and a workout tank I snagged on sale–Read on for ideas to style it up.
Dressing up a Lounge Look
To dress this look up for a day working at home (and on zoom calls), I added the knit cardigan first. This thing is so damn comfortable and one of my favorite purchases of 2019. Feels like a robe, but looks so much more chic.
Next, I added jewelry–the chain necklace and gold chunky hoop earrings from Abby Alley and then layered a long necklace from Katie Dean Jewelry (half off right now.)
I did wear the mules around the house instead of my slippers–so comfortable!
And for funzies, I tried on my new sunglasses and added a bag–how I might have fully styled this if I had somewhere to go, and could go.
Other Idea to Dress It Up
You could also find a linen or cotton blazer–effortless, but can instantly pull together a look. I love this affordable tan linen blazer. And I bought this khaki green one a couple weeks ago.
This 40% off dolman sleeved cardigan or this open front cardigan (50% off) that comes in a ton of colors would also be more a more polished choice!
Or if you like a jacket, this faux suede moto jacket would work nicely with a tank and joggers. I own this All Saints leather jacket and it’s pricy, but a closet staple I wear on repeat and it’s 25% off. Knit cardigan | joggers | tank | Abby Alley earrings + necklace | long necklace (50% off) | Chanel bag | Gucci mules | Fendi sunglasses
