When in doubt, wear black. Or that’s at least the fashion tip I subscribe to most. I struggled to get dressed last weekend for a day of photography jobs–wanting to look pulled together, but comfortable. And wearing just about all black does it for me.
Black Sweater Essentials
A black sweater tunic, one that covers my butt, is a closet essential for me. I can wear sweaters like this over just about anything. And this particular one I’m wearing is back in stock, runs a little big! The tunic sweater is on major sale here too. This sweater is another cute option too.
My Favorite Black Denim
These Madewell jeans have been my go-to pair since December 2018 when I scooped them up in Detroit. They’re flattering and comfortable. And they’re on sale right now.
I’ve tried on Good American black jeans at Evereve too and they fit like a glove. When I need another pair of black jeans, these will be it.
Affordable Sunnies
Quay Australia sunglasses are my all-time favorite. Retail Therapy carries them and a few of my favorite styles include the After Hours style I’m wearing here and this pair.
Combat Boot Ideas
I’ve got more black boots than I can count, but I love a combat boot and chelsea boot the most. These studded combat boots have been sold out everywhere, but found them fully stocked at Amazon.
This is another great winterized combat boot, just $60. Or these $38 lace up combat boots. And this is the perfect everyday heeled chelsea boot.
