Jumpsuits are a quick and efficient way of dressing and they make a statement–both of which I like this time of the year as I transition from drab leggings and sweatshirts to real clothes when the weather heats up. Read on for more on this look and a round up of my favorite jumpsuits for summer:
Summer Jumpsuit Style
There’s a lot to love about a jumpsuit or romper. They’re a perfect alternative to a dress if that’s not your thing, they make dressier incredibly simple and they can be bold or quiet, depending the style whether it’s a more utility jumpsuit or a dressier version.
I personally love a cropped jumpsuit–I find more shoes work well with them and they’re more modern. And I love the extra trendy details on this one that I’m wearing from Sparrow Boutique like the square neck. Plus, white is a light, fresh color to wear as we transition into summer.
For a more classic, sophisticated style, this black strappy jumpsuit is the ticket. Or for more casual, I love this chunky button slouchy jumpsuit in cotton–so breathable and adorable. It’s only $45 plus 20% off at ASOS with code ITSMAY20. Or this bold black/white print jumpsuit and what’s great about this one and many at ASOS is that it comes in regular, petite and tall.
For some super affordable options, this sleeveless v neck button front jumpsuit from Target is $28 and it will be flattering on my body types and comes in different colors. For something a little more colorful, you could snag this colorful striped jumpsuit on sale for $25. I own this one and wore it in Sarasota a few months back and I can finally wear it in Michigan now!
