ย I’ve been feeling uninspired at this point during winter, but I can always rely on something tried and true (and on a not-as-cold day) like this look.
My Go-To Outfit Formula
When unsure of what to wear, you can bet I reach for a pair of favorite jeans (anything by Madewell), an oversized tunic, a leather jacket and a pair of comfortable wedges. This henley style tunic by Free People is a more boho tunic that’s easy to incorporate into many looks like this to something a little more basic like this $32 tunic tee that I just love!
If you’re looking for a super affordable faux leather jacket, this Topshop biker jacket is perfect. I own it in grey AND right now it’s 40% off in black. I own this Topshop black leather jacket already and it’s also 40% off, making it much more affordable now. I find the real leather jacket fits true to size and sized up in the faux leather jacket.
I’m wearing the Lucky Brand suede wedge bootie that I bought on sale last summer and it’s 30% off now! This boot is so comfortable and versatile, and I highly recommend it as a closet staple for every season. I also wear these Dr. Scholl’s wedge black booties on repeat. I feel like I’m walking on a cloud, but it adds some height to my 5’4″ frame, which I appreciate.
Add in Accessories
Accessories can completely change the look, from the choice of a hat to the bag. I love Lack of Color hats and the hat selection at Urban Outfitters where I can typically get a good hat on sale. If you’re not much of a wool hat person, but love a good beanie, so many are on sale right now. I think Macy’s beats the prices of others like the Free People beanie I just re-bought on major sale since I lost the first one in Nashville.

Gorgeous outfit, very simple but I feel like it really shows your personality.

Jeans and a leather jacket is definitely a no-fail formula! I love that the look can be dressed up or down! ๐ โค๏ธ
