I started to warm up to overalls early this summer and it’s now a closet staple as we work our way into winter. There have been so many fresh takes on overalls from fabrics to silhouette to color–and I want them all. Sharing a few of my favorite overalls and fall must-haves to wear on repeat and restyle:
An Everyday Fall Look
Overalls and a striped top is a classic pairing in my book and to keep it practical for cold weather, I added a fitted long-sleeve top with a faux leather moto jacket and my favorite winter boots.
These overalls feel like sweats or joggers and it’s why I own two pairs in black and olive. I highly recommend them and they run to true to size–wearing a size small here. I’ve also heard great things about Madewell’s overalls–I wear their jeans and find them to be so flattering and comfortable and I’m eyeing a few overalls on their site now including these and these in black.
A basic striped tee is a classic piece to have in your closet and easy to restyle throughout the year and the light, long-sleeved versions work even better right now like this $32 version or $35 striped turtleneck from Madewell.
The perfect affordable faux leather jacket and leather jacket does exist! Even though I have a ton of leather jackets, this matte black faux leather jacket spoke to me and is a classic staple add a little edge to my constant athleisure outfits. The jacket is close to sold out everywhere and the first link above has it left in medium and Nordstrom has it left in large. I snagged it in a large! And this suede jacket is just $200, I love the longer silhouette.
Wool hatsย are my go-to this time of year and my favorite style is the rancher hat by Lack of Color. This black wool hat is super affordable and will go with everything. If you’re not a fan of a wool wide brim hat, try a beret. These ones are just $29 and I need one in camel and in pink.
