There is the rare occasion I feel excited to style something a little more feminine and polished and this was the case when I attended an event filled with legislators and other decision makers for work this past week. 
I usually say, “fuck dress pants,” but this particular pair from Zara are cute and add the fact they were on sale, I was sold! I picked up another pair in black and now I’ve hit my dress pant quota for the next couple years. Out of curiosity, is there anything you usually abhor but have come around to enjoy wearing?

    I'm the same way with dress pants. I still to this day haven't found a nice pair. But these have exceptional tailoring so they might just work!

    FANTASTIC outfit…especially the necklace, but I'm a little biased about that because Local Honey is one of my favorite shops 🙂

    I sort of abhor wearing pink, but I'm slowly warming up to it. I'm not going crazy or anything, but I do have a salmon-y color top that I wear sometimes. Baby steps! (Ross Geller would definitely say that's not pink anyway)

    I can't think of anything but floor length skirts which I still won't wear. But you should try the dress pant thing more often (even though I almost never do), it looks great!

    Those shoes seem to go with everything!! They look perfect with the sweater. I love the pants on you – the cut and fit are both wonderful. I used to really abhor wearing stockings/tights (Catholic school scarred me) but lately I think they're absolutely amazing. You look so pretty and happy as usual 🙂

    I used to HATE blazers and basically anything that harkens back to "business attire." However, I now love the look of something straight laced or conservative paired with ratty jeans or bright patterns. Getting more adventurous in my old age, I suppose. 🙂

    I am so glad that you took a chance on these pants because they are perfect on you and I love the polka dot cardigan as well! Is the fur separate from it or part of it? Looking at your blog is hindering my shopping ban . . . but I will continue to look at it because I like to punish myself like that. 😉

    I'm trying t get into dress pants but for some odd reason my junk in the trunk just won't have it :/. You look lovely!

    I think the color of the jacket complements yours hair very well and vice versa.

    I too, am rarely a fan of dress pants. Those are fantastic though. I am almost tempted to make a trip to Zara (something my budget cannot take right now) to try some on for myself.
