After seeing Kim of eat.sleep.wear and Taylor of Sterling Style pull off maxi skirts and dresses seamlessly and so beautifully, I decided I’d give one a try as well! Instead of spending a ton of money on one, I scored one for less than $4 at Goodwill and leopard print no less!
And whoa. I just realized how long my hair is getting. Lately, I’ve noticed an increase of it ending up in my beverages (and other people’s cups) and generally making it’s way into other people’s personal space. It really has a life of its own. I’ve been growing it out since my heinous hair days of various colors, styles and straightening products. Glad I figured out how to work with my hair. Only took me 22-24 years!

I hear you on the hair thing…I am trying to grow mine out at well. I brushed mine out when it was dry today because it was really pissing me off, and now it is HUGE! Major curly hair fail. YOurs is sooo glamorous and amazing looking!

Half Dressed
I didn't know I had curly hair until I was about 20 (I am 27 now) I would force it straight and all it would be was a HUGE puff ball. When I finally found out it was curly, I would pack it sooooo full of gel and product that it would be so crunch. It wasn't until about 1 year ago. I found my glorious hairstylist. He is TO.DIE.FOR!! HE actually knows how to cut curly hair. I no longer put any gel or product in it. Just a little hairspray to keep the frizzies down and WHAAAMO, I am good to go!
